Cheongpung Land (청풍랜드) is a hidden gem in South Korea that I never even knew about until recently. When I found out they had bungee jumping and zip-lining (two items that I had yet to check off of my bucket list!) I knew I had to go. To make it even better? It was less than a two hour drive from where I live! Here’s everything you need to know for your trip to Cheongpung Land in Jecheon, South Korea.
What is Cheongpung Land?
Cheongpung Land is home to South Korea’s first and highest bungee jump (62 meters), a ‘Big Swing’, the ‘Ejection Seat’, and even the longest zip-line in Korea! It’s the very first park in Korea to have these types of attractions.
Our Trip to Cheongpung Land
We came here in the fall right when the trees were all at their peak foliage so we got to enjoy not only the thrill rides but some of the most gorgeous scenery as well. Cheongpung Land is located right by Chungjuho Lake which is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and breathtaking views.
On our trip here we decided to do the bungee jumping and ziplining. These two adventures had been on my bucket list for such a long time and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do both in the same day!
If you’ve ever gone bungee jumping, you get it. If not, I couldn’t possibly describe the feeling you get! Standing on the edge 62 meters up.. knowing you’re about to fall. I really didn’t even have a chance to think about it – before I knew it, they were counting down from 5 (very quickly, might I add) and then they “shoved” me off! It was so much fun, a heck of an adrenaline rush, and I already can’t wait to go again!
There are tons of resorts and other activities in the area such as cable cars, hot springs, Woraksan National Park, and even a ferry on the lake.

Definitely! One of my favorite spots in South Korea so far 😁
Zip-lining sounds like fun! I’ve never tried it before but I’ll be visiting Seoul later this month and so will see if I can visit that area!

It’s definitely worth a visit if you can make it. Ziplining was great, but you should try the bungee jumping! 😉
